Source 1. Will of husband Jonathan Gillett dated 25 Aug 1694 and found in Book 974.6 p2m: Early Conn. Probate Records pg: 557 17 May 1700: Miriam Gillett, the Relict of Jonathan Gillett request this Court that 1/2 acre of land not disposed of by the will be allotted to her to aid in the payment of debts. There being no provision in the will for the payment of debts, she being the Executrix, is necessitated to pay them out of her particular legacy. (The court gave her the land)
