Josephs son Cary Allen was born shortly after this census was taken.

Census: Joseph Gillett, age 56, a farmer & born in New York. He owns realestate valued at $6ooo. Personal property valued at $715. Candace, his wife is age 47 & she was born in New York; chauncy, son, age 17, a farm laborer and born in Ohio; Caroline, a daughter, age 14 & she was born in Ohio;

Census: Joseph Gillett, age 58, a farmer & born in New York; Candace, his wife, age 51, keeping house, and born in New York; Caroline, age 25, keeping house and born in Ohio; byron b, age 1, and born in Missour; Husband Francis is not listed on this census, while his wife Caroline and son byron are; Is this an oversight of the census taker? If not, then where is Carolines husband Francis Rudolph?
