I fail to find a documented birth for James in either Uxbrdige or Sutton, Worcester, Mass. Vital Records;
This Source says James d: 20 May 1837, aage 90, at the home of his daughter Sarah; (Sarah married Joel Wright at Northbridge, Worcester, Massachusetts on 5 November 1809; It is uncleaar to me where he died; He may have died in Warrensvill, Cuyahoga, Ohio and perhaps his daughter Sarah & her family removed to Ohio; His death is recorded in Vital Records of Sutton, Mass. and that is how I have it listed on his family group sheet.
